Wyonne has been working as a personal trainer for 9 years. She is active in several sports including snowboarding, running, bicycling and rock climbing. She began her yoga practice at the Shambala Center in Boulder, Colorado in 1997. Yoga quickly became an essential part of her training when she realized how much it complemented her other sports. Yoga improved her mental focus which translated into improved performance. Wyonne moved to Portland in 2001. She continued her yoga practice and became certified as a yoga instructor in 2002. She desired to share her love of yoga with others and chose this as the best avenue. Since then, she has taken teacher training levels I, II and III as well as anatomy, alignment and prenatal/postpartum yoga throught the YogaFit Association. Wyonne has been teaching in the community since 2003. She also teaches yoga one-on-one and uses yoga in her personal training to benefit her clients. Wyonne believes yoga is a vital part of a healthy lifestyle as the patience, balance and discipline learned on the mat relates and transfers into all aspects of life.
